| New discoveries today included a Black Stork over Brighton, East Sussex and Bee-eaters at Sea Palling (two) and Winterton, both Norfolk.
Lingering rarities still present included the Least Tern in County Dublin, Gull-billed Tern in Dorset, Black-browed Albatross in Yorkshire, Great Reed Warblers in Nottinghamshire and Norfolk, Iberian Chiffchaff in London, Red-rumped Swallow in Orkney, Spotted Sandpiper in Norfolk, Little Bittern in Scilly, Ferruginous Duck in Staffordshire, King Eider in Lothian and American Black Tern in Northumberland. Scarcity highlights included a Serin, a Bluethroat, a Common Rosefinch, seven Rose-coloured Starlings, an American Golden Plover, a Montagu's Harrier, a Ring-necked Duck, three American Wigeon, 12 Glossy Ibises and a Ring-billed Gull. |
