  In County Roscommon, the adult Egyptian Vulture reappeared near Athlone (after also being seen nearby on 28th April).

New discoveries today included a Spanish Wagtail at Conwy RSPB, Conwy, an Iberian Chiffchaff at Borden, Hampshire, a Tawny Pipit at Weybourne and Salthouse, Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs at Mullagh, County Derry and Timoleague, County Cork, Black Kites over Orford and Boyton, Suffolk and Deri, Glamorgan and a White-billed Diver off Aird an Runair, Western Isles.

Other lingering rarities seen today included the Iberian Chiffchaff in London, Dusky Warbler and Black-winged Stilt in Norfolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, King Eider in Lothian and Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk.

Scarcity highlights included a Richard's Pipit, two Lapland Buntings, a Pectoral Sandpiper, a Grey Phalarope, two Temminck's Stints, eight Dotterel, a Purple Heron, a Night Heron, 11 Glossy Ibises, a Ring-necked Duck, an American Wigeon, two Surf Scoters, an Iceland Gull, a Glaucous Gull, seven Pomarine Skuas and nine Long-tailed Skuas.
