  New discoveries today included a Dusky Warbler at Stiffkey, Norfolk, single White-billed Divers off Fair Isle, Shetland and North Ronaldsay, Orkney, and a Ross's Goose flew over near Thurso, Highland.

Lingering rarities still present included the Belted Kingfisher in Lancashire, Red-flanked Bluetail and Lesser Yellowlegs in County Wexford, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Baikal Teal in Yorkshire, Black Duck in County Mayo, two Lesser Scaups in Clyde, King Eiders in Highland and Lothian and Bonaparte's Gull in Sussex.
