New White-billed Divers were found off Port Ellen, Islay, Argyll and off Cocklawburn Beach, Northumberland (with further birds seen off Bamburgh, Northumberland and in South Nesting Bay, Shetland).
Other lingering rarities still present included the American Robin and Hume's Warbler in Sussex (with another of the latter still in Kent), Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Ross's Gulls in County Galway and Aberdeenshire, Forster's Tern in County Galway, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Lancashire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Northern Harrier in County Offaly, Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, Baikal Teals in Somerset and Yorkshire, Ferruginous Ducks in Oxfordshire and County Tyrone, three Lesser Scaups in Argyll, King Eider in Lothian, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Sligo, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham and three Penduline Tits in Somerset. |
