  Lingering rarities seen today included the American Robin and Hume's Warbler in Sussex, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Ross's Gulls in County Galway and Aberdeenshire, Baikal Teals in Somerset and Yorkshire, Red-breasted Goose in Norfolk, Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham and three Penduline Tits in Somerset.

Scarcity highlights included a Short-toed Lark, a Lapland Bunting, two Shorelarks, four Waxwings, a Little Auk, ten Glossy Ibises, two American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teals, three Surf Scoters, 12 Ring-necked Ducks, a Todd's Canada Goose, three Black Brants, six Tundra Bean Geese, two Kumlien's Gulls, three Ring-billed Gulls, six Glaucous Gulls and 21 Iceland Gulls.
