  Rarities today comprised American Robin and Hume's Warbler both still in East Sussex, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Semipalmated Plover in County Cork, Northern Harrier in County Offaly, American Coot in County Kerry, Ross's Gulls in both Aberdeenshire and County Galway, Baikal Teals in East Yorkshire and Somerset, Red-breasted Geese in Essex and Norfolk, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Dusky Warbler in Kent, Richardson's Cackling Goose on the Western Isles, Ferruginous Ducks in Oxfordshire and County Tyrone, and Lesser Scaups in both Argyll (2) and Dorset.

Scarcities included Little Bunting (East Sussex), Rose-coloured Starling (Cornwall), Surf Scoter (Isles of Scilly), Dotterel (Norfolk), Snow Goose (Western Isles), two American Wigeons, three of both Kumlien's Gull and Little Auk, four Green-winged Teals, five of Ring-billed Gull and Shorelark, nine Waxwings, 10 Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of 30 Glossy Ibises.
