Dusky Warbler in Kent, King Eider in Highland, Lesser Yellowlegs
in County Galway and Suffolk, Ferruginous Ducks in Staffordshire and Surrey,
Lesser Scaups in Ayrshire, County Cork, and Isles of Scilly, two Richardson's Cackling Geese together in County Sligo, and on the Shetland
Isles White-billed Diver and three King Eiders together. | The highlight of the day was probably the reappearance of the Belted Kingfisher on the River Darwen at Roach Bridge, Lancashire, although new discoveries included single Bonaparte's Gulls at Pettycur, Fife and Cardiff Bay, Glamorgan.
Lingering rarities included two American Coots in County Kerry, Northern Harrier in County Offaly, single Red-breasted Geese in Essex and Lincolnshire, Baikal Teal in Somerset, single Lesser Scaups in Scilly and Western Isles, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, single Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk and County Wexford, Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, Pied-billed Grebe in Argyll, American Buff-bellied Pipit in Devon, single Hume's Warblers in Sussex and Kent, Dusky Warbler in Kent and two Penduline Tits in Somerset. Scarcity highlights included a Hoopoe, a Serin, a Little Bunting, a Great Grey Shrike, a Rose-coloured Starling, two Yellow-browed Warblers, 11 Shorelarks, 30 Lapland Buntings, a Grey Phalarope, 45 Glossy Ibises, an American Wigeon, five Surf Scoters, seven Green-winged Teal, 19 Ring-necked Ducks, a Snow Goose, a Todd's Canada Goose, two Black Brants, 19 Tundra Bean Geese, 30 Taiga Bean Geese, three Glaucous Gulls, five Ring-billed Gulls and nine Iceland Gulls. |

| Lingering rarities seen today included the Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, Hume's Warblers in Kent and Sussex, Dusky Warbler in Kent, three Penduline Tits and a Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, American Coot in County Kerry, Baikal Teals in Somerset and Yorkshire, Red-breasted Geese in Essex and Lincolnshire, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Sligo, Pacific Diver in Glamorgan and White-billed Diver in Northumberland.
Scarcity highlights included a Short-toed Lark, a Pallas's Warbler, a Little Bunting, two Serins, two Yellow-browed Warblers, two Great Grey Shrikes, 11 Shorelarks, 32 Lapland Buntings, an American Wigeon, three Surf Scoters, four Green-winged Teal, 26 Ring-necked Ducks, two Black Brants, three Snow Geese, 15 Tundra Bean Geese, 32 Glossy Ibises, a Kumlien's Gull, three Ring-billed Gulls, ten Iceland Gulls and 15 Glaucous Gulls. |

| Rarities today comprised the White-winged Scoter still in Lothian, Baikal Teals in both East Yorkshire and Somerset,
Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, Hume's Warbler in East Sussex and Kent, Red-breasted Goose in Essex and Lincolnshire, three Penduline Tits together in Somerset,
Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, and Dusky Warbler in Kent. Scarcities included Serin (Hertfordshire), Pallas's Warbler (Oxfordshire), Kumlien's Gull (County Kerry), two each of American Wigeon, Surf Scoter, Yellow-browed Warbler, and Black Brant, three of Great Grey Shrike, Waxwing, and Snow Goose, four Ring-billed Gulls, five Green-winged Teals, seven Shorelarks, 11 Glossy Ibises, 15 Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of 30 Lapland Buntings. Unfortunately the Gyr reported yesterday at Marton-in-the-Forest, North Yorkshire was an escaped bird. |

| A white morph Gyr was reported at Marton-in-the Forest, North Yorkshire. Elsewhere, lingering rarities confirmed as still present comprised Baikal Teals in both East Yorkshire and Somerset, American Buff-bellied Pipit in Devon, Pacific Diver in County Cork and Glamorgan, Hume's Warbler in East Sussex and Kent, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, Red-breasted Goose in Argyll and Essex, Kentish Plover and three Penduline Tits in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Lesser Scaup in Ayrshire, and Richardson's Cackling Goose in both Argyll and Lancashire. Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (Oxfordshire), Serin (Devon), Little Bunting (London), Hoopoe (Warwickshire), Richard's Pipit (North Yorkshire), Rose-coloured Starling (Cornwall), American Wigeon (Nottinghamshire), Shorelark (East Sussex), Little Auk (Highland), two each of both Waxwing and Black Brant, three of Ring-billed Gull, Surf Scoter, Great Grey Shrike, Yellow-browed Warbler, and Snow Geese, four Green-winged Teals, seven Lapland Buntings, nine Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of 18 Glossy Ibises. |

A Ross’s Goose was found north of Glasgow at Millchen, Clyde in a field with Pink-footed Geese. Lingering rarities still present included Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, Pacific Diver in Glamorgan, Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, American Buff-bellied Pipit in Devon, Hume’s Warbler in East Sussex, White-tailed Lapwing in Lincolnshire, Baikal Teal in Somerset, 3 Penduline Tits in Somerset, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Dusky Warbler in Kent, 4 Lesser Scaups with 2 in Argyll and singles on Western Isles and Ayrshire.
