Lingering rarities seen today included the Red-flanked Bluetail in County Durham, Hume's Warblers in Kent and Sussex, Dusky Warbler in Kent, three Penduline Tits and a Kentish Plover in Somerset, Lesser Yellowlegs in Suffolk, American Coot in County Kerry, Baikal Teals in Somerset and Yorkshire, Red-breasted Geese in Essex and Lincolnshire, two Richardson's Cackling Geese in County Sligo, Pacific Diver in Glamorgan and White-billed Diver in Northumberland.
Scarcity highlights included a Short-toed Lark, a Pallas's Warbler, a Little Bunting, two Serins, two Yellow-browed Warblers, two Great Grey Shrikes, 11 Shorelarks, 32 Lapland Buntings, an American Wigeon, three Surf Scoters, four Green-winged Teal, 26 Ring-necked Ducks, two Black Brants, three Snow Geese, 15 Tundra Bean Geese, 32 Glossy Ibises, a Kumlien's Gull, three Ring-billed Gulls, ten Iceland Gulls and 15 Glaucous Gulls. |
