  Rarities today comprised the Least Tern still in County Dublin, Elegant Tern again in Merseyside, Black-winged Pratincole on the Shetland Isles, Forster's Tern in County Louth, Black Stork and Pacific Golden Plover in Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitchers in both Carmarthenshire and Cheshire, Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Baltic Gull in Oxfordshire, and on the Isles of Scilly Lesser Yellowlegs and eight Wilson's Petrels.

Scarcities included Melodious Warbler (Cornwall), Common Rosefinch (Fife), Red-backed Shrike (Aberdeenshire), Spotted Crake (Suffolk), Surf Scoter (Angus), Sabine's Gull (Orkney Isles), two each of Rose-coloured Starling, Temminck's Stint, Great Shearwater, Long-tailed Skua, and Grey Phalarope, and a total of four Glossy Ibises.
