In Yorkshire, the Black-browed Albatross returned to Bempton Cliffs RSPB, whilst a Black Stork was a new arrival in Kent at Worth Marsh this evening.
Lingering rarities included the Elegant Tern in Anglesey, Least Tern in County Dublin, Short-billed Dowitcher in County Cork, two Black-winged Stilts in both East Sussex and Norfolk, Bonaparte's Gull and King Eider in Shetland and Red-footed Falcon in Wiltshire. Scarcity highlights included a Golden Oriole, a Red-backed Shrike, a Common Rosefinch, six Rose-coloured Starlings, a Surf Scoter, three Glossy Ibises, a Long-tailed Skua and an Iceland Gull. |
