	Rarities today comprised the Bufflehead still in Warwickshire at Coton, the Rustic Bunting still in Surrey at Thursley Common, Dusky Warbler in Merseyside at Ainsdale, and two White-billed Divers together on the Shetland Isles in Bluemull Sound. Scarcities included Little Bunting (Surrey), Ring-billed Gull (Cornwall), Shorelark (Lothian), Kumlien's Gull (Cambridgeshire), two each of Rose-coloured Starling, Surf Scoter, Green-winged Teal, and Lapland Bunting, four Waxwings, six Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of nine Glossy Ibises. Incoming spring migrants included Garganey (Cheshire), Ring Ouzel (East Yorkshire), Wheatear (Somerset), three Sand Martins (together in Cambridgeshire), and 10 White Wagtails.
