| Rarities today comprised the Double-crested Cormorant still in County Kerry, Belted Kingfisher still in County Cork,
Pied-billed Grebe in Shropshire, Rustic Bunting in Surrey, Eastern Yellow Wagtails in both Somerset and Suffolk,
Long-billed Dowitcher in North Yorkshire, Ferruginous Duck back in Hampshire,
Lesser Yellowlegs in North Yorkshire and the Western Isles, and Dusky Warblers in Cambridgeshire, Cornwall and Kent (2). Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (Dorset), Richard's Pipit (West Sussex), two each of Ring-billed Gull, Surf Scoter, Green-winged Teal, Black Brant, and Waxwing, three of Little Bunting and Great Grey Shrike, four Yellow-browed Warblers, five Ring-necked Ducks, and a total of six Glossy Ibises. |
