  Lingering rarities seen today included the Dusky Thrush in Derbyshire, Blue Rock Thrush in Gloucestershire, Pacific Diver and Eastern Black Redstart in Cornwall, another Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Desert Wheatear and Bonaparte's Gull in Devon, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, Hooded Merganser in Clyde and Ferruginous Duck in Norfolk.

Scarcity highlights included a Great Grey Shrike, a Kumlien's Gull, two Little Auks, two Surf Scoters, two Ring-necked Ducks, three American Wigeon, four Green-winged Teals, eight Yellow-browed Warblers, 25 Cattle Egrets, ten Ring-billed Gulls, 24 Iceland Gulls and around 95 Glaucous Gulls.
