  Rarities today comprised the Killdeer still on the Shetland Islses, Forster's Tern in County Galway, Pallid Harrier in East Yorkshire, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Hooded Merganser in Ayrshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Bonaparte's Gull in County Clare, Lesser Scaup and five White-billed Divers on the Orkney Isles.

Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (West Sussex), Ring-billed Gull (Hampshire), Glossy Ibis (Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire), three each of American Wigeon and Ring-necked Duck, 14 Cattle Egrets, and 31 Shorelarks.

Saturday 26th November 2016  
  The second Forster's Tern for Kent was discovered off Folkestone today, where it remained from late morning until mid afternoon when it flew east. A drake Lesser Scaup was found on Loch of Boardhouse, Orkney.

Lingering rarities included the Killdeer in Shetland, Forster's Tern in County Galway, Hooded Merganser in Ayrshire, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Norfolk, Semipalmated Sandpiper and Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford and Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset.

Friday 25th November 2016  
  Lingering rarities still present today included the Killdeer in Shetland, Hooded Merganser in Ayrshire, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Norfolk, Pallid Harrier in Yorkshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset and single Ferruginous Ducks in Hampshire and County Durham.

The best of the rest were a Black-bellied Dipper, a Richard's Pipit, a Ring-billed Gull, a Rough-legged Buzzard, an American Golden Plover, a Surf Scoter, a Ring-necked Duck, two American Wigeon, two Green-winged Teals and three Great Grey Shrikes.

Wednesday 23rd November 2016  
  The highlight of the day was the reappearance of the Killdeer on Shetland at Sandwick, whilst a Dusky Warbler was new in Norfolk at Holme, and an Azorean Yellow-legged Gull was identified at Wembury Point, Devon.

Lingering rarities comprised the Hudsonian Whimbrel and Dusky Warbler both still in Cornwall, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset, and the Hooded Merganser returned to Lochwinnoch, Clyde.

Scarcities included Richard's Pipit (East Sussex), Surf Scoter (Lothian), Black-bellied Dipper (Suffolk), three Ring-necked Ducks, five American Wigeon, 10 Cattle Egrets, 11 Lapland Buntings and 42 Shorelarks.

Sunday 20th November 2016  
  The highlight of the day was the continued present of the Forster's Tern in Essex at Mistley, whilst the Pacific Diver remained in County Galway, Desert Wheatears in both Devon and Lancashire, Arctic Redpoll on the Orkney Isles, Dalmatian Pelican in Cornwall, Semipalmated Sandpiper and Long-billed Dowitcher together in County Wexford, Hooded Merganser in Ayrshire, and Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo.

Scarcities included Pallas's Warbler (East Yorkshire), Richard's Pipit (Somerset), Black-bellied Dipper (Suffolk), American Golden Plover (County Kerry), Surf Scoter (Lothian), Ring-billed Gull (Hampshire), three Ring-necked Ducks, five American Wigeons, 20 Cattle Egrets and 29 Shorelarks.
