  The second Forster's Tern for Kent was discovered off Folkestone today, where it remained from late morning until mid afternoon when it flew east. A drake Lesser Scaup was found on Loch of Boardhouse, Orkney.

Lingering rarities included the Killdeer in Shetland, Forster's Tern in County Galway, Hooded Merganser in Ayrshire, Eastern Black Redstart in Cleveland, Desert Wheatear in Devon, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in Norfolk, Semipalmated Sandpiper and Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford and Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset.
