| An American Coot was found on Loch nam Feithean at Balranald, Western
Isles. Two Arctic Redpolls on Fair Isle, Shetland were the only other
rarities discovered today.
Lingering rarities included the Siberian Accentor in Highland, Western Rufous Turtle Dove in Shetland, Isabelline Wheatear in Norfolk, Hudsonian Whimbrel and Dalmatian Pelican in Cornwall, Hooded Merganser in Ayrshire, two Eastern Black Redstarts in Cleveland and another in Yorkshire, Northern Harrier in Orkney, Pallid Harrier in Lincolnshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Dorset and Ferruginous Duck in Hertfordshire. |
