  Lingering rarities seen today included the Hudsonian Whimbrel and Dalmatian Pelican in Cornwall, Collared Pratincole and Little Bittern in Somerset, Little Bittern in South Yorkshire, White-billed Diver in Moray, single Bonaparte's Gulls in Kent and Northumberland and two Wilson's Petrels off County Galway.

Scarcities included a Sabine's Gull in Derbyshire, a Pectoral Sandpiper and a White Stork in Yorkshire, a Cory's Shearwater off Scilly, a Temminck's Stint in Northumberland and three Glossy Ibises.
