  An adult summer plumaged Great Knot was discovered at Titchwell RSPB, Norfolk early afternoon. This fifth for Britain is the second for Norfolk, following the adult at Breydon Water just under two years ago.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Dalmatian Pelican in Cornwall, Great Spotted Cuckoo in Dorset, two Caspian Terns in Lincolnshire, Gull-billed Terns in Forth and County Wexford, Little Bittern in Yorkshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Northumberland.

Scarcity highlights included a Serin, a Purple Heron, a Ring-necked Duck, a Ring-billed Gull, a Pomarine Skua, a White Stork, two Golden Orioles, two Marsh Warblers and five Glossy Ibises.
