| Two drake Black Scoters were discovered today, one off Kinshaldy, Fife
and one off Rossbeigh, County Kerry. A female King Eider was in the Sound
of Harris, Western Isles, and late news from yesterday concerned a report of an
American Robin on Skerries, County Dublin.
Lingering rarities seen today included the Mourning Dove, Black-bellied Dipper and Lesser Scaup in Shetland, American Herring Gull and Lesser Scaup in Cornwall, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, two Penduline Tits in Gloucestershire, Gyr in the Western Isles, Bonaparte's Gull in Devon, single King Eiders in Fife and County Wexford and Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire. |
