	New discoveries comprised a Pacific Golden Plover in Lincolnshire and American Herring Gull on Western Isles, whilst King Eiders in Shetland, Aberdeenshire and Cornwall, Black Scoter in Northumberland, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire and Ridgway's Cackling Goose in Dumfries & Galloway were also logged. The best of the rest included Rose-coloured Starling (Northumberland), two Cattle Egrets (Kent), two Serins (Essex), two Richard's Pipits and four American Wigeons.
