| Lingering rarities present today included the Harlequin Duck in
Aberdeenshire, Pacific Diver in Cornwall, Dusky Warbler and
Lesser Yellowlegs in Sussex, three Penduline Tits in Devon, single
Lesser Scaups in Cornwall and Ayrshire, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire
and Richardson's Cackling Goose in the Western Isles.
The best of the rest were a Night Heron (Kent), Surf Scoter (Suffolk), Richard's Pipit (Norfolk), two Yellow-browed Warblers (Devon and Cornwall), two American Wigeons (both Cornwall) and three Ring-necked Ducks (Dumfries and Galloway and Western Isles). |
