| Lingering rarities confirmed as still present today were the Harlequin Duck in Aberdeenshire,
Lesser Yellowlegs in East Sussex, Lesser Scaup in Ayrshire, and Ferruginous Duck in Gloucestershire, Scarcities included Night Heron (Kent), Surf Scoter (Suffolk), Richard's Pipit (Somerset), two each of Cattle Egret and Little Auk, three of Ring-billed Gull, Yellow-browed Warbler, Shorelark and Lapland Bunting, four Ring-necked Ducks, six Great Grey Shrikes, nine each of Iceland and Caspian Gulls, 10 of Rough-legged Buzzard and Glaucous Gull, and a total of 18 Tundra Bean Geese. |
