Saturday 6th December 2014  
  The second Penduline Tit for Wiltshire was discovered today, at Pit 68a of the Cotswold Water Park. The first record, in 2008, was just a few yards away at Pit 68c.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Pacific Diver, Desert Wheatear and Dusky Warbler all in Cornwall, another Desert Wheatear in Norfolk, Laughing Gull in County Cork, Bonaparte's Gull in Devon, Lesser Scaup in County Kerry, Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire and Eastern Black Redstart in the Isles of Scilly.
