  An adult Azorean Yellow-legged Gull at Silver Strand, County Cork was the only new rarity discovered today.

Lingerers included the American Coot in Highland, Pied-billed Grebe on the Western Isles, Pacific Diver in County Tyrone, Hume's Yellow-browed Warblers in Warwickshire and Kent (two), Laughing Gull in County Cork, Long-billed Dowitcher in Hampshire, White-billed Diver in Aberdeenshire, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire and Bonaparte's Gull in Devon. Two-barred Crossbills were in Shropshire (two), Yorkshire (seven) and Norfolk.
