  Rarities today were headlined by the continued presence of both American Coot and King Eider in Moray, Ivory Gull in County Wexford, Forster's Tern and King Eider in County Mayo, American Buff-bellied Pipit in Cheshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, King Eider in Fife, White-billed Diver in Devon, seven Two-barred Crossbills together in South Yorkshire, and Lesser Scaups in both Cornwall and Staffordshire.

Scarcities included Rose-coloured Starling (Isles of Scilly), two each of Ring-necked Duck, Cattle Egret and Shorelark, three Parrot Crossbills, four each of Yellow-browed Warbler and Snow Goose, and a total of 15 Glossy Ibises scattered across 12 counties.

Notable gulls were presented by 30 Glaucous, 12 Caspian, 10 Iceland, and two each of both Ring-billed and Kumlien's.
