  A White-billed Diver off the Isle of May, Fife, was the only new rarity discovered today. Lingering rarities included a single American Buff-bellied Pipit in Berkshire, Western Subalpine Warbler in Cornwall, Black-bellied Dipper in Norfolk, Desert Wheatear in Aberdeenshire, Blue-winged Teal in Dumfries and Galloway and single Lesser Scaups in Cornwall and Somerset.

Scarcity highlights included a Hoopoe, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Pallas's Warbler, two Yellow-browed Warblers, a Shorelark, two Great Grey Shrikes, an American Wigeon, a Surf Scoter, three Ring-necked Ducks, four Green-winged Teals, five Tundra Bean Geese, a Kumlien's Gull, three Ring-billed Gulls, five Glaucous Gulls, six Iceland Gulls, 12 Caspian Gulls and 48 Lapland Buntings.
