  Lingering rarities consisted of the American Buff-bellied Pipits in Berkshire, Western Subalpine Warbler in Cornwall, Black-bellied Dipper in Norfolk, Desert Wheatear in Aberdeenshire, Blue-winged Teal in Dumfries and Galloway, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford and Lesser Scaup in Somerset.

Scarcity highlights included a Pallas's Warbler, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Shorelark, a Kumlien's Gull, two Great Grey Shrikes, four Green-winged Teals, four Ring-necked Ducks, six Ring-billed Gulls, six Glaucous Gulls, six Iceland Gulls, ten Caspian Gulls, nine Lapland Buntings and 11 Tundra Bean Geese.
