	Headline news came from Isles of Scilly, where a Rose-breasted Grosbeak was discovered in a garden in Hugh Town, St Mary's. A Ferruginous Duck was discovered in Nottinghamshire, whilst lingering rarities included American Buff-bellied Pipit in Berkshire, Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll in Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Devon, Subalpine Warbler in Cornwall, Lesser Scaup in Somerset and Cornwall, Gyr on Western Isles and Red-breasted Goose in Hampshire. In Ireland the American Coot lingered in Co Galway, whilst a possible Thayer's Gull was seen in Co Kerry. A Rose-coloured Starling in Devon, Yellow-browed Warbler in Conwy and Temminck's Stint in Somerset were all confirmed as still present.
