	Lingering rarities included Penduline Tit in Kent and Bee-eater in Co Durham, whilst rare wildfowl included Hooded Merganser in West Sussex, Lesser Scaup in Highland and Somerset, Red-breasted Goose and Ferruginous Duck in Hampshire and Ross's Goose in Norfolk. The best of the rest included Ring-necked Duck in Somerset, Hoopoe in Glamorgan, Yellow-browed Warbler in Lincolnshire and American Wigeon in West Yorkshire. Excellent numbers of Waxwings were again reported, including a flock of over 1,000 at Kyle of Lochalsh (Highland).
