| Rarities confirmed as still present today comprised the Stilt Sandpiper in Northumberland,
Black-headed Bunting on the Orkney Isles, Long-billed Dowitcher in Gloucestershire and two
Blue-winged Teals together in County Wexford. Scarcities included Night Heron (Hampshire), Surf Scoter (Angus), Pectoral Sandpiper (Cornwall, Suffolk and County Wexford), Sabine's Gull (33 off Highland), Ring-billed Gull (County Down), and Great White Egret (Cheshire and Worcestershire). |
