  New rarities today included a Black Stork in County Clare, which flew over Ballyvaughan, a Ferruginous Duck in Somerset, at Blagdon Lake and at least three Wilson's Petrels from a pelagic off the Isles of Scilly.

Lingering rarities included the Iberian Chiffchaff in Somerset, White-rumped Sandpiper in Lincolnshire and single Glossy Ibises in County Cork and Suffolk.

Scarcity highlights included the Red-backed Shrike in London, Montagu's Harrier in Lancashire, Short-toed Lark in Norfolk, Temminck's Stint in Leicestershire, single Cory's Shearwaters in County Cork and the Isles of Scilly, single Pomarine Skuas in Highland and Angus and a Roseate Tern in Sussex .
