  Lingering rarities comprised just the Alpine Swift at Bempton Cliffs RSPB, East Yorkshire, Paddyfield Warbler on Fair Isle, Shetland and Glossy Ibis at Tacumshin, County Wexford.

Scarcities were headlined by the Sabine's Gull in Hertfordshire, with another off Devon, Icterine Warbler in Lothian, Red-necked Phalarope in Gloucestershire, Rose-coloured Starling in Ceredigion, Serin in Suffolk, Roseate Terns in Sussex and Dorset (2), Surf Scoter in Angus, Great White Egret in Cheshire, single Iceland Gulls in Hampshire and Argyll and Glaucous Gull in Shetland.
