  Lingering rarities included Paddyfield Warbler in West Sussex, Spanish Sparrow in Hampshire, Desert Wheatear in East Yorkshire, Lesser White-fronted Goose in Norfolk, Spotted Sandpipers in Somerset and Dorset, Ferruginous Ducks in Somerset and Berkshire and Lesser Scaup in Glamorgan. Glossy Ibises were in Pembrokeshire (13), Glamorgan (2), Lancashire and Devon

In Ireland the Thayer's Gull remained in Co Fermanagh and a Glossy Ibis was logged in Co Wexford.
