  In Cleveland, yet another rare wader arrived at Saltholme RSPB, with an adult Semipalmated Sandpiper joining the adult Temminck's Stint on West Saltholme Pool. New Black Kites were reported from Covehithe, Suffolk and Ardleigh, Essex.

In Aberdeenshire, the Black Scoter remained off Blackdog this afternoon, whilst other lingering rarities included Stilt Sandpiper in Dorset, Marsh Sandpiper in Yorkshire, Western Bonelli's Warbler in Derbyshire, House Crow in County Cork and Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire.

Scarcity highlights included a Woodchat Shrike in Gloucestershire, Spotted Crake in Lincolnshire, Pectoral Sandpipers in Lincolnshire and Lancashire, Melodious Warblers in Pembrokeshire and Dorset, Cory's Shearwater in County Durham and Great Shearwater in County Cork.
