Sunday 20th June 2010
A quiet summer day was headlined by the finding of a male Red-footed Falcon at Cuckmere Haven (East Sussex). Elsewhere lingering rarities included Blue-winged Teal (Cambridgeshire), Iberian Chiffchaff (South Yorkshire) and Great Reed Warbler (Derbyshire). The best of the rest came in the form of White-spotted Bluethroat (Norfolk), Red-necked Phalarope (Worcestershire), Marsh Warblers (Isle of Wight and East Yorkshire), Serin (Isles of Scilly), Purple Heron (Kent), Common Rosefinches (Forth and Perth & Kinross) and Common Crane (Cheshire).
