Saturday 12th June 2010
The highlight of the day was the discovery of an adult male Red-footed Falcon in Kent at Whetsted.

Lingering rarities comprised the Marmora's Warbler and Iberian Chiffchaff both still on territory in Gwent, Broad-billed Sandpiper in Cleveland, Great Reed Warbler in Derbyshire and single Red-footed Falcons in both Cambridgeshire and Devon whilst elsewhere in Devon the singing Barolo Little Shearwater remains unseen on Lundy.

Scarcities included three Red-backed Shrikes (two together in East Yorkshire), territorial White-spotted Bluethroat in Norfolk, Marsh Warbler on the Isle of Wight, Surf Scoter in Aberdeenshire and Ring-necked Duck in Fife.
