| A Siberian Rubythroat made a brief appearance at Norwick, Unst, Shetland today. Other new discoveries included a male Baikal Teal at Abbotsbury, Dorset, a Lesser Scaup at Abberton Reservoir, Essex and a Siberian Stonechat on Stronsay, Orkney. New Pallid Swifts were found on Tresco, Scilly, Dawlish Warren, Devon (two), Carregwastad Point, Pembrokeshire, Sand Point, Somerset and Horsey and Cromer, both Norfolk, and new Dusky Warblers were at Foreness Point, Kent, Aylestone, Leicestershire, Blakeney Point, Norfolk, Flamborough, Yorkshire, Holy Island, Northumberland and Fair Isle, Shetland.
Lingering rarities included the Black-faced Bunting in Shetland, Daurian Shrike in County Wexford, three Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, Radde's Warbler in Orkney, Dusky Warbler in Shetland, Pallid Swift in Kent, Pallid Harrier in Pembrokeshire, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Derry, Lesser Yellowlegs in Anglesey, another Lesser Yellowlegs and two Lesser Scaups in Cornwall, another Lesser Scaup in Northamptonshire and Richardson's Cackling Goose in Cumbria. |

| Mega highlights included Black-faced Buntings at four locations - one trapped and ringed at Nanjizal Valley, Cornwall; another trapped and ringed at Portland Bill, Dorset; and two on Fair Isle, Shetland - one at Walli Burn and another trapped at Auld Haa.
New rarities included several notable finds. Dusky Warblers were discovered at four locations: Filey Brigg, North Yorkshire; Stiffkey, Norfolk; Minsmere RSPB, Suffolk; and Tresco, Scilly. An Olive-backed Pipit was seen on St. Mary's, Scilly. Pallid Swifts were spotted at North Foreland, Kent; Portland Bill, Dorset; and Dundalk, Co. Louth. Continuing rarities included Killdeer in Pembrokeshire, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, Lesser Yellowlegs in Anglesey, Lesser Scaup in Northants and Cornwall, Northern Harrier in Co. | In Orkney, there were brief sightings of an Eyebrowed Thrush at Finstown and a Rose-breasted Grosbeak at Tankerness. A White-winged Scoter was found at Rossbeigh, County Kerry, with a new Lesser Yellowlegs at Inland Sea, Anglesey and a Lesser Scaup at Helston, Cornwall.
Lingering rarities included a Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk, Daurian Shrike in County Wexford, Bonaparte's Gull and Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim, White-rumped Sandpiper in Perth and Kinross, Red-breasted Goose in Argyll and Lesser Scaup in Northamptonshire. |
