  New rarities included a Blackpoll Warbler on Barra, Western Isles, Black Scoter off Goswick, Northumberland, Hume's Warbler at Warham Greens, Norfolk, Red-throated Pipit on Bryher, Scilly, Olive-backed Pipit on Holy Island, Northumberland, three White-rumped Sandpipers at Tacumshin, County Wexford, and three White-rumped Sandpipers at Montrose Basin, Angus.

Continuing rarities included a Western Bonelli's Warbler in County Cork, Pacific Diver in County Cork, Radde's Warbler in County Cork, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and County Wexford, Mourning Dove in Scilly, American Pipit in Scilly and County Galway, Dusky Warbler in Norfolk, Ross's Goose in Merseyside, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Blackpoll Warbler in Shetland, Olive-backed Pipit in Devon, Dusky Warbler in Devon, Marsh Sandpiper in Lothian, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus and County Wexford, Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, White-rumped Sandpiper in Cornwall, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Clare, Lesser Scaup in North Yorkshire and Western Isles, Baikal Teal in Dorset, and a Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Wexford.
