Excitement today consisted of four Bonaparte's Gulls in Highland at Dunnet Bay, plus nine White-rumped Sandpipers at Rosslare Back Strand, Co.Wexford, three at Myroe Levels, Co.Derry, and singles at Breydon Water, Norfolk, St.Agnes, Scilly, and Scotney GPs, E.Sussex.
New rarities included a Western Bonelli's Warbler at Mizen Head, Co.Cork, and Siberian Stonechat at Walshaw Dean Reservoirs, W.Yorks. Continuing rarities included Harlequin Duck in Co.Donegal, Mourning Dove in Scilly, American Pipit in Scilly and Co.Galway, Spotted Sandpiper in Scilly, Brown Shrike in Pembrokeshire, Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, Blue-winged Teal in Shetland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Norfolk, Cambs, Co.Louth and Co.Wexford, Red-footed Falcon in Norfolk, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Northern Parula in Co.Cork, Baird's Sandpiper in Leicestershire and Western Isles, Grey-cheeked Thrush in Co.Donegal, Marsh Sandpiper in Lothian, Ross's Goose in Merseyside, Northern Harrier in Co.Wexford, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Rustic Bunting in Shetland, Long-billed Dowitcher in Co.Wexford, and two Semipalmated Sandpipers in Co.Wexford. |
