New rarities included White-rumped Sandpipers at St.Gothian Sands, Cornwall, Tiree, Argyll, Lacken Strand, Co.Mayo, South Uist, Western Isles, and two birds at Guardbridge, Fife, Western Subalpine Warbler at North Levenwick, Shetland, Northern Harrier at New Brighton, Wirral, Semipalmated Sandpiper at Lower Rosses, Co.Sligo, Baird's Sandpiper at Lurgan Green, Co.Louth, Ferruginous Duck at Little Marlow GPs, Bucks, Lesser Yellowlegs at Northwick Warth, Glos, and a historically interesting Rustic Bunting from 24th September at East Hills, Norfolk.
Continuing rarities included Siberian Thrush at Scalloway Caravan Park, Shetland, Lesser Yellowlegs at South Wootton, Norfolk, Etton Maxey Pits, Cambs, Baston Langtoft Pits, Lincs, South Uist, Western Isles, and Lurgan Green, Co.Louth, Turkestan Shrike at Dunwich Heath, Suffolk, Wilson's Phalarope at St.Mary's, Scilly, Baird's Sandpiper at Annagh Marsh, Co.Mayo, Blue-winged Teal at Loch of Spiggie, Shetland, Pallid Harrier at Llanrhidian Marsh, Glamorgan, Swainson's Thrush at Malin More, Co.Donegal, Marsh Sandpiper at Musselburgh Lagoons, Lothian, and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull at Termoncarragh Lough, Co.Mayo. |
