  In Shetland, a Swainson's Thrush was at Ham, Foula, single Rustic Buntings were at Urafirth and Laxfirth, a Subalpine Warbler species was at North Levenwick and an Olive-backed Pipit was on Fair Isle. A White-rumped Sandpiper was at Stinky Bay, Western Isles.

Lingering rarities included the Siberian Thrush, Radde's Warbler and Dusky Warbler in Shetland, Swainson's Thrush in County Donegal, Turkestan Shrike in Suffolk, Siberian Stonechat in County Durham, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Franklin's Gull in Orkney, Wilson's Phalarope in Scilly, Marsh Sandpiper in Lothian, Lesser Yellowlegs in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, Baird's Sandpiper in Western Isles, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Blue-winged Teal in Shetland and Ross's Goose in Lancashire.
