| New rarities of the day included an Arctic Warbler at Fetlar in Shetland, a Fea's Petrel at sea off Staithes in North Yorkshire, a Bonelli's Warbler at St.Martin's in Scilly, and a Marsh Sandpiper at Musselburgh in Lothian.
Continuing rarities included Zitting Cisticolas at Walberswick in Suffolk, a Ferruginous Duck at Filby Broad in Norfolk, an Azorean Yellow-legged Gull at The Mullet in County Mayo, an Arctic Warbler at Great Wigborough in Essex, a White-rumped Sandpiper at East Chevington NWT in Northumberland, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Kidwelly Quay in Carmarthenshire, a Marsh Sandpiper at Musselburgh in Lothian, Lesser Scaups at Belvide Reservoir in Staffordshire, a Semipalmated Sandpiper at Ballycotton in County Cork, a Pectoral Sandpiper at Tiree in Argyll, a Rose-coloured Starling at Wembury in Devon, a Wryneck at Mainland in Shetland, and a Black Kite at Drift Reservoir in Cornwall. |
