Monday 3rd October 2022  
  In Shetland, new discoveries included a Pechora Pipit at Hillswick, an Eastern Yellow Wagtail at Gott, a Coues's Arctic Redpoll at Boddam, all Mainland and a Blyth's Reed Warbler at Norwick, Unst, with lingering rarities in the archipalago including Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler, two Olive-backed Pipits, six Hornemann's Arctic Redpolls, Eastern Stonechat species, King Eider, and the probable Homeyer's Great Grey Shrike. Scarcities there included a Common Rosefinch, an Ortolan Bunting, two Lapland Buntings, three Bluethroats, five Barred Warblers, two American Golden Plovers and a Glaucous Gull.

Elsewhere, new rarities included a Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler on St Kilda, Western Isles, an Olive-backed Pipit at Nanjizal, Cornwall, a Blyth's Reed Warbler at Spurn, Yorkshire and a Spotted Sandpiper at Farlington, Hampshire (for its third day).

Other lingerers included two Red-eyed Vireos in County Clare, Long-billed Dowitcher in Cornwall, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cleveland, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Blue-winged Teal in London, Olive-backed Pipit in Orkney and Pallid Harrier in Dumfries and Galloway.

Away from Shetland scarcity totals were a Bluethroat, a Little Bunting, two Wrynecks, two Barred Warblers, two Common Rosefinches, thee Red-backed Shrikes, four Lapland Buntings, an American Golden Plover, three Buff-breasted Sandpipers, five Grey Phalaropes, eight Pectoral Sandpipers, a Purple Heron, nine Glossy Ibises, a Honey Buzzard, an American Wigeon, two Ring-necked Ducks, a Tundra Bean Goose, a Sabine's Gull, a Leach's Petrel, a Long-tailed Skua, 40 Balearic Shearwaters, at least 216 Great Shearwaters and at least 239 Cory's Shearwaters.

Friday 30th September 2022  
  New discoveries today included a Pallid Harrier at Point of Lag, Dumfries and Galloway, an Olive-backed Pipit on St Mary's, Isles of Scilly and a Radde's Warbler at Benacre, Suffolk. The Great Grey Shrike present at Hillswick, Shetland since Wednesday is now thought to be of the form homeyeri.

Lingering rarities included the Swainson's Thrush and two Hornemann's Arctic Redpolls in Shetland, Blue-winged Teal in London and Kentish Plover in Somerset.

Scarcity highlights included an Ortolan Bunting, a Bluethroat, an Icterine Warbler, a Red-breasted Flycatcher, a Common Rosefinch, a Rose-coloured Starling, two Wrynecks, two Red-backed Shrikes, three Richard's Pipits, three Barred Warblers, a Purple Heron, eight Glossy Ibises, a Ring-necked Duck, a Honey Buzzard, an American Golden Plover, six Pectoral Sandpipers, three Red-necked Phalaropes, eight Grey Phalaropes, a Leach's Petrel, three Sabine's Gulls, three Long-tailed Skuas and nine Pomarine Skuas.

Tuesday 27th September 2022  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of both a White's Thrush and a Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll on the Orkney Isles on North Ronaldsay, whilst a Siberian Thrush was found dead nearby on Papa Westray. On the Western Isles a Gyr was now on Lewis at Loch Ordais whilst a Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll arrived on St Kilda. 

On the Shetland Isles a Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler was new on Fair Isle, Eastern Yellow Wagtail, Olive-backed Pipit, King Eider, Surf Scoter, and Pectoral Sandpiper were all on Mainland, a Red-backed Shrike on Unst, and around the islands three Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll, three Barred Warblers, and a total of 10 Common Rosefinches. On the Isles of Scilly a Common Rosefinch was on Bryher and two Wrynecks were on St Mary's.

Other rarities comprised Baird's Sandpiper still in Aberdeenshire, Long-billed Dowitcher still on the Orkney, Red-footed Falcon still in Norfolk, and Pallid Harriers identified in Dorset at Hengistbury Head and Kent at Worth.

Sunday 25th September 2022  
  Discoveries today included a Semipalmated Sandpiper on the Western Isles on South Uist, Pacific Golden Plover in Lincolnshire at Donna Nook, Lesser Yellowlegs in North Yorkshire at Scorton, and in Norfolk two Red-footed Falcons together at Hickling Broad.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present included Baird's Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, Pallid Harrier in Cornwall, Pied-billed Grebe in Argyll, and Kentish Plover in Somerset.

On the Shetland Isles a King Eider was on Yell, Woodchat Shrike, Red-backed Shrike, and Barred Warbler on Unst, Surf Scoter and two Pectoral Sandpipers on Mainland, and a total of five Common Roesfinches. On the Isles of Scilly a Barred Warbler was on Tresco, Common Rosefinch on Gugh, and both Red-backed Shrike and Wryneck on St Mary's.

Elsewhere notable scarcities comprised Icterine Warbler (Norfolk), Red-breasted Flycatcher (Kent), Purple Heron (Lancashire), American Golden Plover (Anglesey), Ring-billed Gull (County Louth), Rose-coloured Starling (County Cork), and two Buff-breasted Sandpipers (Gwynedd and Western Isles).

Saturday 24th September 2022  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Pallid Harrier in Cornwall at Goonhilly Downs whilst elsewhere the Roller remained in Devon, as did the Baird's Sandpiper in Aberdeenshire, and Long-billed Dowitcher on the Orkney Isles,. In Somerset the Kentish Plover returned to winter at Burnham-on-Sea.

On the Shetland Isles the Long-billed Dowitcher remained on Fair Isle, with Woodchat Shrike, Red-backed Shrike and Bluethroat all on Unst, Surf Scoter, Wryneck, and two Pectoral Sandpipers on Mainland, and around island totals of two Barred Warblers and six Common Rosefinches. On the Isles of Scilly a Spotted Crake remained on Tresco, two Wrynecks were on St Mary's, and multiple Great Shearwaters were seen at sea.

Otherwise notable scarcities included Bluethroat (Orkney), Icterine Warbler (Norfolk), American Golden Plover (Anglesey), Surf Scoter (Cornwall), Red-breasted Flycatcher and Temminck's Stint (together in East Yorkshire), two each of Melodious Warbler, Rose-coloured Starling, and Purple Heron, and a total of seven Buff-breasted Sandpipers.
