Friday 23rd September 2022  
  New discoveries today included a Baird's Sandpiper at Meikle Loch, Aberdeenshire, a Red-footed Falcon at St Austell, Cornwall and a White-billed Diver off Whalsay, Shetland, and the Black Scoter returned to Cocklawburn, Northumberland for at least its eighth year.

Lingering rarities seen today included the Roller in Devon, Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim, Semipalmated Sandpiper in Orkney and Long-billed Dowitcher in Shetland.

Scarcity highlights included a Bluethroat, a Hoopoe, a Rose-coloured Starling, two Melodious Warblers, three Barred Warblers, five Red-backed Shrikes, six Wrynecks, seven Common Rosefinches, nine Lapland Buntings, a Night Heron, a Purple Heron, three Glossy Ibises, a Corncrake, a Honey Buzzard, a Dotterel, a Grey Phalarope, a Temminck's Stint, an American Golden Plover, a Buff-breasted Sandpiper, 11 Pectoral Sandpipers, two Surf Scoters, two Long-tailed Skuas, five Pomarine Skuas, two Glaucous Gulls, five Sabine's Gulls, a Roseate Tern, 18 Cory's Shearwaters, 27 Great Shearwaters and two Leach's Petrels.

Thursday 22nd September 2022  
  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Semipalmated Sandpiper on the Orkney Isles on Westray whilst in Cornwall an Iberian Chiffchaff was identified at Najizal.

Lingering rarities confirmed as still present were the Roller in Devon, Western Bonelli's Warbler on the Shetland Isles, and Long-billed Dowtchers on both the Orkney Isles and Shetland.

Scarcities included Buff-breasted Sandpiper (County Mayo), Ortolan Bunting (Dorset), Night Heron (Kent), two each of Bluethroat, American Golden Plover, and Rose-coloured Starling, and three Barred Warblers.

Wednesday 21st September 2022  
  On the Shetland Isles today Great Snipe, Long-billed Dowitcher, Arctic Warbler, and Bluethroat were all on Fair Isle, Western Bonelli's Warbler and Pectoral Sandpiper on Mainland, and on Out Skerries two Common Rosefinches. On the Isles of Scilly a Pectoral Sandpiper remained on Tresco and a Wryneck on St Mary's.

Rarities elsewhere comprised the Roller still in Devon at Bere Ferrers, and a Long-billed Dowitcher was new on the Orkney Isles on North Ronaldsay.

Scarcities included Little Bunting (East Yorkshire), Red-breasted Flycatcher (Kent), Hoopoe (Highland), Purple Heron and Spotted Crake (together in Lancashire), Richard's Pipits (Cornwall and Lincolnshire), Red-backed Shrikes (Dorset and Suffolk), Red-necked Phalaropes (Herefordshire and Kent) and three Rose-coloured Starlings.

Tuesday 20th September 2022  
  Discoveries today included a Red-flanked Bluetail in Norfolk at Trimingham, a Baird's Sandpiper in County Donegal at Blanket Nook, and Bee-eaters briefly in County Durham and the Isle of Wight.

On the Shetland Isles Great Snipe, Arctic Warbler, Rose-coloured Starling, Barred Warbler, Bluethroat, and Lapland Bunting were on Fair Isle, Arctic Warbler, Wryneck, and three Common Rosefinches on Mainland, Arctic Warbler on Yell, with at total of 49 Yellow-browed Warblers logged around the islands. On the Isles of Scilly a Spotted Crake was on St Mary's, Pectoral Sandpiper on Tresco, and around the islands a total of six Wrynecks.

Notables elsewhere were the Roller still present in Devon, Citrine Wagtail in Dorset, Ortolan Bunting in Glamorgan, Purple Heron in Lancashire, Little Bunting in East Yorkshire, Richard's Pipit in Cornwall, Rose-coloured Starling in West Sussex, and Red-necked Phalarope in Herefordshire.

Friday 16th September 2022  
  Lingering rarities seen today included the Eastern Olivaceous Warbler at Howth, County Dublin, Western Bonelli's Warbler at Quendale, Shetland, Arctic Warbler on Barra, Western Isles and Citrine Wagtails at Lodmoor, Dorset and near Lerwick, Shetland.

Scarcity highlights included a Short-toed Lark, an Ortolan Bunting, a Rose-coloured Starling, a Common Rosefinch, a Lapland Bunting, a Great Grey Shrike, two Red-backed Shrikes, a Yellow-browed Warbler, 13 Wrynecks, a Ring-necked Duck, an American Golden Plover, a Temminck's Stint, two Red-necked Phalaropes, four Grey Phalaropes, four Pectoral Sandpipers, two Honey Buzzards, a Spotted Crake, six Glossy Ibises, two Leach's Petrels, two Sabine's Gulls, a White-winged Black Tern, three Roseate Terns, four Balearic Shearwaters, 19 Pomarine Skuas, around 49 Long-tailed Skuas, a Cory's Shearwater and 93 Great Shearwaters.

Thursday 15th September 2022  
  The highlight of the day was the reappearance of the Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim at Doon Lough where it has last been seen on 16th April. Lingering rarities elsehere included the Eastern Olivaceous Warbler still in County Dublin, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Red-footed Falons in both Kent and Lancashire, Bee-eater in Dorset, and Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire.

On the Shetland Isles Great Snipe, Common Rosefinch, and two Lapland Buntings were on Fair Isle, and on Mainland Western Bonelli's Warbler, Citrine Wagtail, and Red-backed Shrike were all logged. On the Isles of Scilly a Western Bonelli's Warbler was new on Bryher, and on St Mary's Short-toed Lark, Red-backed Shrike, and four Wrynecks were recorded.

Elsewhere rarities found today comprised a Citrine Wagtail in Dorset at Lodmoor, an Arctic Warbler on the Western Isles on Barra, a White-billed Diver passing County Durham and later Northumberland, and Bee-eaters briefly in Dorset, Suffolk, and the Isle of Wight.

Wednesday 14th September 2022  
  Discoveries today included an Arctic Warbler in Fife at Fife Ness, Red-footed Falcon in Kent at Seasalter, Black Kite in Gloucestershire at Rodborough Common, and in Cornwall Greenish Warbler at Porthgwarra and Blyth's Reed Warbler on The Lizard.

On the Shetland Isles a Great Snipe remained on Fair Isle, a Western Bonelli's Warbler and Pectoral Sandpiper were on Mainland, Blyth's Reed Warbler and Barred Warbler on Unst, and two each of both Common Rosefinch and Yellow-browed Warbler. On the isles of Scilly a Bonelli's Warbler species and Short-toed Lark were discovered on St Mary's with around island totals of Icterine Warbler, Common Rosefinch, Red-backed Shrike, Roseate Tern, six Wrynecks, 12 Cory's Shearwaters, and 93 Great Shearwaters.

Elsewhere lingering rarities comprised the Eastern Olivaceous Warbler still in County Dublin, Pallid Harrier in Norfolk, Black Duck in County Mayo, Red-footed Falcon in Lancashire, Bee-eater in Dorset, King Eider in Lothian, and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.
