  New rarities today were a Least Sandpiper at Ventry in County Kerry, two American Pipits at St Kilda in the Western Isles, a Red-eyed Vireo at Blacksod in County Mayo, a Baird's Sandpiper near Audlem in Cheshire, a Long-billed Dowitcher on Lewis in the Western Isles, and Lesser Yellowlegs on Barra in the Western Isles and at Stanford Pit in Bedfordshire.

Rarities included a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, an Eastern Olivaceous Warbler in Scilly, further Baird's Sandpipers in County Cork, County Antrim, County Wexford, Glamorgan, and Moray, a Wilson's Phalarope in Aberdeens, a King Eider in Shetland, an American Black Tern in Shetland, a Greenish Warbler in Scilly, and further Lesser Yellowlegs in Leicestershire, Somerset and Cleveland.
