| New rarities today consisted of a Red-eyed Vireo on Dursey Island in County Cork, a Baird's Sandpiper on Rathlin Island in County Antrim, a Greenish Warbler at Gugh in Scilly, and Lesser Yellowlegs at Rutland Water in Leicestershire and Stornoway in the Western Isles. Rarities included a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, the Blackburnian Warbler in County Cork, an Eastern Olivaceous Warbler in Scilly, a Western Bonelli's Warbler in Devon, a Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Donegal, further Baird's Sandpipers in Glamorgan, Moray and Argyll, a Wilson's Phalarope in Aberdeens, a King Eider in Shetland, and a Ferruginous Duck in Oxfordshire. |
