  New rarities today were a Baird's Sandpiper west of Tralee in County Kerry, a Western Bonelli's Warbler at Lundy in Devon, and a Barolo Shearwater at Brandon Point in County Kerry.

Rarities included a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, a Solitary Sandpiper in Scilly, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, Baird's Sandpipers in County Cork, Glamorgan, Cornwall, County Wexford and County Mayo, a Pallid Harrier in Shetland, a Ferruginous Duck in Oxfordshire, and a Greenish Warbler in Shetland.
