  New rarities today were a White-rumped Sandpiper at Uig Sands on Lewis in the Western Isles, a Spotted Sandpiper at Swords in County Dublin, and a Fea's Petrel at Spurn in East Yorkshire.

Rarities included the Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, a Black Stork in Suffolk, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Ferruginous Ducks in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire/Leicestershire, a White-throated Sparrow in Fife, a further White-rumped Sandpiper in Suffolk, and a Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland.
