  New rarities today were a Lesser Yellowlegs at Low Newton-by-the-Sea in Northumberland, a Caspian Tern at The Naze in Essex, and late news of the reappearance of the Blue-cheeked Bee-eater at St Mary's in Orkney.

Rarities included a White-rumped Sandpiper in East Yorkshire, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, Ferruginous Ducks in Oxfordshire, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire/Leicestershire, a Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, and a White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford.
