| Discoveries today included three new White-rumped Sandpipers: in Staffordshire at Belvide Reservoir, in County Cork at Ballynamona, and in East Yorkshire a new bird at Kilnsea made two together at this site. Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/ Oxfordshire border, the Hudsonian Godwit between Suffolk and Essex, Black Stork in East Yorkshire, at least two White-winged Scoters together in Lothian, Pacific Golden Plover in Lincolnshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent. |
